These are quite possibly the very first pair of earrings for the Contour Collection.
I was struggling with creativity and burnout and decided to put everything away and take it back to basics. After some designing, some playing, and a few iterations, these simple little beauties were the first things off my bench. I loved them so much I wondered what else could I make, what other shapes could I use?
These are called 'The Wave' earrings in brass.
Off the Wall, onto your Bod
The photo above is what inspired the Contour Collection. Found on Pinterest while looking to get inspired, I believe the artist is Diogo Pimentau and I believe the medium is paper, but I could be wrong. Either way, I fell in love with the simplicity of design. It is simply folded paper on a wall. I thought, why not try that in metal? No stones. Just simple textured metal with a fold.
And out came the Contour Collection.
Contour is an all-earring and brooch collection featuring scored and folded brass and sterling silver. All hand-fabricated and one-of-a-kind. All made with intention.
