The Helix Earrings are inspired by the spiraling helix shape, bringing to mind the double helix of DNA, but in a very abstract form.
Made of sterling silver and given a slight texture, they’re for people who want comfortable, shiny silver earrings, but are looking for something slightly unconventional. A fun twist on a basic silver dangler, they catch the light no matter which way you’re looking.
My background in science naturally shapes how I see the world and influences my creative process. While not all of my pieces are directly inspired by scientific phenomena, this one, in particular, reminds me of the graceful spiral of a DNA double helix—and I think that’s pretty cool.
