I never want my jewelry to be basic. You know what I mean.
According to Google (and let’s be real, they’re not wrong), “basic” is slang for something unoriginal, mainstream, and predictable—something that follows trends without much thought or personality behind it. That’s the opposite of what I want for my work.
I never want my jewelry to be trendy.
That’s why I spend real time thinking through every piece—its shape, its feel, the way it catches light. Everything I make is designed with intention: thoughtful, a little unexpected, but still wearable and beautiful.
I probably look at more jewelry than the average person ever will. So while some designs might seem unconventional to others, I see them all the time. The truth is, many jewelers’ designs will share certain qualities—we’re inspired by one another, we notice what’s out in the world, we scroll Pinterest just like everyone else. It’s natural to echo what we’re constantly surrounded by. And there are some incredible artist-jewelers out there. People so talented and creative that my soul leaves my body when I study their work.
All that said, a core value of my work and this business is: don’t be generic.
We're not going for trends in this shop and we're not looking to fit in.
If you’re someone who appreciates aesthetic choices, who collects rare and unusual things, then you’re in the right place. Here, you’ll find pieces that are comfortable, easy to wear, and quietly bold. And just to be clear—quiet doesn’t mean meek.
It means confident. Subtle. Unmistakable.
After all, the most interesting people are almost always the quiet ones.
