Fall Jewelry: Embracing Color & Texture

Fall Jewelry: Embracing Color & Texture

We are star-stuff: The Lucida Collection Reading Fall Jewelry: Embracing Color & Texture 2 minutes Next In praise of Silver

Like every Autumn, fashion colors tend to move into the browns, oranges, dark greens, and maroons; colors that mimic nature and what we're seeing around us. The way the leaves are changing colors (for those who live in the North) into those beautiful reds, yellows and oranges. How the evergreens are the only things staying green and foliated? We're all getting our sweaters out, lighting candles, and carving pumpkins. We want to be part of it, part of nature, part of our surroundings. It's a feeling of being in a community and being one with the world and other people.

I, too, love Fall for all of these reasons and when I go out, I try to take that cozy feeling with me. The only trend I'm following this year is what I like to wear; what's calling to me and making me feel good.

At the Collective, we're embracing muted tones and texture this fall and wearing big stone cuff bracelets. Sure, "bracelet season" is over, but sometimes that sweater gets hot and you need to push the sleeves up, and that's where a beautiful cuff will be waiting to shine.

Does your sweater have a turtleneck? That is the perfect place to show off a stunning stone pendant, like the Jove West Texas Agate below. This big piece doesn't want to compete with any prints, so make sure to put it with a solid color.
